One of Asia's biggest music ceremonies promises John Legend, G-Dragon, EXO, K-pop kisses, sexy performances and more.

One of K-pop's biggest nights will soon be upon us with the 2014 Mnet Asian Music Awards (aka MAMA). Likened to be the Asian equivalent of the MTV Video Music Awards, MAMA has proven to be not only a destination for Asian starts but superstars across the globe too.

Last year, Stevie Wonder, Icona Pop and Ylvis all brought their signature stylings to the show with this year looking to be just as promising. From rare East-meets-West duets to the girl groups we think are going to spice things up, check out the top seven reasons why you should watch 2014 MAMA. The show starts Wednesday morning, Dec. 3, from 4-10 a.m. EST and you can livestream the event below, scroll down.

1. John Legend to Duet With Girls' Generation's Tiffany

Months after earning his first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "All of Me," John Legend closes out a spectacular year with a performance at MAMA 2014. He picked a great show to make his inaugural appearance too: This year was huge for ballads in K-pop with Taeyang's "Eyes, Nose, Lips," Park Hyo Shin's "Wildflowers" and Hyolyn's "Goodbye" all wooing listeners to top the K-Pop Hot 100.

In a similar vein to how Stevie Wonder and Hyolyn collaborated at 2013 MAMA, the R&B star will duet with Girls' Generation member Tiffany at the show. While the L.A.-bred diva didn't release any ballads this year, Tiffany did remind listeners of her vocal chops with big belts on "Mr.Mr." and Girls' Generation-TTS' "Holler."

2. G-Dragon and Taeyang. Together.

G-Dragon and Taeyang's "Good Boy" is a chart hit around the world, but MAMA will be the first time the BIGBANG duo bring their new single to life making the performance a can't-miss for fans.

3. There's a Kiss Coming...

MAMA has teased that viewers will get to see a rare, televised kiss between two K-pop stars. In years' past we've seen MAMA lip locks between BIGBANG's T.O.P and Lee Hyori plus Beast's Hyunseung and 4Minute's HyunA. Who is next?

4. Get Your Sexy On

MAMA promised a slew of sexy performances from girl groups this year. With tantalizing single releases from SISTAR ("Touch My Body"), Girl's Day ("Something") and AOA ("Like a Cat"), we have a feeling it's going to get really hot this year.

5. The (K-Pop) Legend Returns

To celebrate his first album in five years, Seo Taiji -- largely credited for pioneering the K-pop we know today -- will give a rare live performance. We're expecting IU to come out for their new duet "Sogyeokdong," one of the best songs to come out of Korea this year.

6. Surprises Still to Come

As news continues to pour in hours before the show, MAMA still has a few tricks up its sleeves. That includes another performer -- still being kept secret at press time -- along with an unpredictable red carpet. Case in point: At 2013 MAMA, G-Dragon revealed he recorded a song with Justin Bieber causing fans across the globe to come together and collectively freak out.

7. It's Super Easy to Tune In

Television network Mnet America will air the ceremony on its cable channel, host a livestream via a mini-site for talk show Danny From LA and have MAMA streaming on YouTube, which you can watch below. The broadcast starts Wednesday morning, Dec. 3, from 4-10 a.m. EST. L.A.-based fans can also watch the awards at a special screening, the '2014 MAMA All Night Viewing Party,' at GGV Cinemas Los Angeles.
