g.o.d to Bring Reunion Tour to East & West Coast Arenas

The classic K-pop band will play the Los Angeles and New Jersey areas.

g.o.d is making their reunion an international affair. One of K-pop's most famous boy bands of all time has announced two huge U.S. concerts as part of their 15th Anniversary Reunion Concert tour. The quintet will perform in arenas on both the east and west coast.

After extending their South Korean reunion tour from two to 10 shows this summer, the band will hit stadiums in both the Los Angeles and New York/New Jersey area.

The Must-Know Music History About g.o.d

g.o.d -- whose name from an acronym for "groove over dose" -- went on a permanent hiatus in 2005 after member Yoon Kye Sang departed the group at the height of their fame to pursue a solo acting career in 2004, pushing the rest of the group to all but break up a year after. This May, the group returned with their long-awaited comeback single "The Lone Duckling" that shot straight to No. 1 on the K-Pop Hot 100.

g.o.d has since released comeback album Chapter 8 featuring "The Lone Duckling," "Sky Blue Promise" that's an apology track to fansIU-collaboration "Sing Me a Song Oppa" and more.

The tour dates will be the first time a single Korean act has played stadiums stateside since BIGBANG performed at Anaheim's Honda Center and New Jersey's Prudential Center in 2012. Multi-act concerts like KCON and the L.A. K-Pop Festival have since been filling up similar-sized venues.
