Polo G is the "Rapstar" who's shining at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week (on the chart dated April 24), and he's still in disbelief over it.

The 22-year-old rapper took to Twitter on Monday (April 19) when the news broke about his first No. 1 song on the chart. "#1 song On the billboard Charts. Thank u God& Everybody Supportin me This s--- don’t even Feel real," he wrote. "Naw like gang I really just went #1 wtf."

Fellow rappers NLE Choppa and Dreezy applauded his latest achievement by calling him "the goat" (greatest of all time) -- which is also the name of his 2020 sophomore album -- by replying with the goat emojis. Chance the Rapper celebrated his fellow Chicago-bred MC's victory by sharing the Billboard chart that Polo G posted on his Instagram and writing, "He too raw. Another win for the crib" on his Instagram Story.

"Rapstar" drew 53.6 million U.S. streams and sold 5,300 downloads in its first week, ending April 15, according to MRC Data. It also attracted 844,000 radio airplay audience impressions in the week ending April 18. The song also tops Billboard's Streaming Songs chart and marks the highest weekly sum for a male artist so far in 2021. Polo G also earns his first No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts.
