Iggy Azalea took to social media on Monday (Oct. 26) to clear up confusion surrounding her split from Playboi Carti.

The rumor mill kicked into high gear over the weekend when the rapper shared the first photos of her son Onyx while simultaneously confirming she'd broken up with her fellow hip-hop star, whom she'd been in a relationship with since late 2018.

"You lost a real 1...People take loyalty for granted & that's why I'd rather be alone. One thing I'll never understand is how liars live with themselves. That s--t don't eat y'all up inside?" she wrote on Saturday (Oct. 24) in a series of Instagram Stories.

Hours later, Azalea followed the cryptic posts up with a clearer statement, writing, "What I [meant] last night was that I'm raising my son alone & I'm not in a relationship."

In her latest Instagram Story, Azalea seems to be walking her comments back a bit for the sake of her newborn.

"Nothing I said was intended to make it seem like my sons father isn't part of his life but I've noticed a lot of people took it that way, so I wanted to clear the air," she clarified. "Onyx is so so loved by his dad & has always had both parents in his life from day 1."

In the wake of giving birth to Onyx in June 2020, Azalea has been busy prepping her return to music. In August, she unveiled the Tinashe-assisted "Dance Like Nobody's Watching," which serves as the lead single for her long-awaited upcoming third studio album, End of an Era.
