Megan Thee Stallion conveyed that "protecting Black women" should not be controversial in a powerful opinion piece for the New York Times earlier this week, and the message hit home for Kamala Harris.
"Thank you, @theestallion, for using your voice to speak out," the Black and South Asian Democratic Vice Presidential nominee tweeted. "Black women DO deserve better. I promise when @JoeBiden and I are elected, we’ll continue to show up not just with lip service, but with action."
Megan retweeted the sentiment, and added three clapping emojis and "make sure y’all get up and go vote."
