Big Boi Bringing Kryptonite Festival to Atlanta

Goodie Mob, EarthGang and Kneel'n Rey are on the roster for the April 18 event.

Big Boi is bringing his own party to Atlanta in April. The OutKast rapper announced on Tuesday (March 3) that the inaugural Kryptonite Festival will touch down at Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park in ATL on April 18 with a roster that will also include Goodie Mob, EarthGang and Kneel'n Rey among other acts to be announced soon.

“Excited to light up Atlanta with some of my closest friends and collaborators, and also show out some fresh new talent at the first ever Kryptonite festival,” Big Boi said in a statement about the event. “We gonna bring all good vibrations to our fans who turn out in our home city. #Weoutchea #FestivalKillers.” In a tweet he added, "I’ve been waiting so long to have my very own festival. To have it in my city is a dream come true and we can’t wait to share this family affair with you. Much love from the bottom of my heart. #1stannual #kryptonitefest.
