Kanye West sent his fans into a festive frenzy by dropping his Sunday Service Choir album Jesus Is Born on Christmas Day (Dec. 25).

"#JesusIsBorn" by @kanyewest is a straight praise break," one fan wrote, while another declared, "These sweet soulful sounds are easily one of the best Christmas gifts I could have ever gotten." Many fans, meanwhile, were simply excited to note that West -- a notoriously perfectionist -- put the album out on its scheduled day of release.

Featuring original spirituals as well as a choral reworkings of The Life Of Pablo-era tracks "Ultralight Beam" and "Father Stretch," Jesus Is Born arrives just two months to the day after West's more hip-hop-leaning gospel album, Jesus Is King.
