2 Chainz continues to level up. With the ATL pioneer's spot in rap's pantheon secure, Chainz is surveying the field and seeing what he could to help others looking to make a name for themselves. On Friday (Oct. 4), Chainz's T.R.U. label has announced a joint venture with Atlantic Records. For the partnership's first move, the 42-year-old is joined by a few of T.R.U.'s finest on the blistering "Shoot It Out," which premieres with Billboard below.

“I’m excited on the new venture building from the ground up, my biggest goal is to play a part in changing someone’s life and make them a millionaire," Chainz tells Billboard. "I treat the record label as school with various levels. That’s why we refer to it as ‘The Real University.’ It’s a course you go through."

The Drench God teams up with Sleepy Rose, WORL, and Hott Locked N for the fiery Hitmaka-produced posse cut. The fiery "Shoot It Out" will land on the T.R.U. label's compilation project, which should be out before 2019 ends. "It adjusts the mood on your face,” 2 Chainz says of the track. “It’s got the grit and the Atlanta sound I like to talk about. It’s a heavy one with a lot of power.”

Chainz has made it a point to diversify his business portfolio this year. In addition to becoming part-owner of the Atlanta Hawks' G League affiliate, the "Rule the World" rapper also gained an ownership stake in the A3C Festival & Conference, an Atlanta staple for young entrepreneurs and music industry folk.
