Snoop Dogg’s newest grandson, Kai Love, died Wednesday, just 10 days after being born.

The heartbreaking announcement came from the 47-year-old rapper’s son, Corde Broadus, who posted an Instagram video from the hospital where his 13-month-old daughter, Elleven Love, kisses her new baby brother.

“Kai Love 9/15/19 - 9/25/19,” he wrote in the caption. “My Son Kai brought so much love and positivity into this world. His energy will live on and these 10 days of love will always be special to us. Let’s all cherish life and those we love while we are here. Thank you.”

The 25-year-old did not reveal the cause of his son’s death but shared a positive message written on the dry-erase board from Kai Love’s hospital room, which simply read “Love + Light.”

Snoop Dogg’s wife, Shante Broadus, shared an Instagram video of herself singing Dru Hill’s “The Love We Had (Stays On My Mind).” “To My Fifth G Baby Kai Love 9-15-19/9-25-19 #TheLoveWeHadStaysOnMyMind #MamaTae,” she wrote in the caption.

Cordell Broadus, Corde Broadus’ brother, commented “Love you momma” on her post.
