Kevin Gates is back. The Baton Rouge spitter returned with his sophomore album, I'm Him, on Friday (Sept. 27). The 17-track effort follows Gates' Islah debut from 2016.

Gates defines who he believes "Him" to be in his rhymes as an acronym that stands for "His imperial majesty." The 33-year-old also released the "RBS Intro" visual to go alongside the project, which finds him exploring all throughout Amsterdam.

KG will be heading out on the I'm Him Tour very soon, as the trek kicks off next month in Chicago on Oct. 12. He will be joined by a lineup of YK Osiris, Polo G, NLE Choppa, Rod Wave, and SDot Fresh as supporting acts.

Speaking to Billboard about his growth as an individual, Gates says he's proud of the steps he's taken. "I'm watching Kevin Gates grow," he says. "I'm proud of it. He's starting not to make excuses. He's starting to hold himself accountable. I'm proud of him. It took a little longer then it took for most people. Women mature faster than men, but I'm proud of him."
