Rihanna Says She 'Needs to Get Back in the Studio' With The-Dream

Rihanna and The-Dream have linked up on numerous occasions since originally teaming up in 2007, and RiRi wants to create more magic for her long-awaited album with the prolific songwriter.

During a recent Instagram live session (Sept. 17) from earlier this week, Rihanna summoned her "Umbrella" collaborator to the studio in the near future.

"What's up, Dream? Miss you, bro. We definitely need to get back in the studio together. So let me know when you're done designing," she said. RiRi then quickly realized that she's been the one to dabble in other endeavors such as fashion while keeping her music on the backburner. "Yeah, that was the pot calling the kettle black. That was me, I did that. I'm a hypocrite," Rihanna added with a laugh.

Back in January, The-Dream mentioned Rihanna's Anti follow-up during an interview with Hot 97, where he admitted the project was already nearly completed. "She's cooking, she's about done. She's about done. Super close," said the 41-year-old, but refused to divulge any further details.
