Lil Nas X, Blink-182, Madeon to Headline 2019 TwitchCon in Partnership With Columbia Records

This year's TwitchCon has a power-packed list of headliners. The annual showcase from the live streaming entertainment service announced on Monday (Sept. 16) that it will be teaming up with Columbia Records on Sept. 28 at Petco Park for the official TwitchCon Party in San Diego with headliner Lil Nas X, alongside Blink-182, Madeon, Au/Ra and Y2K.

The event, which hosts 25,000 attendees per day, celebrates video game and streaming culture with panels, workshops, meet-and-greets with popular Twitch gamers and an expo with more than 100 exhibitors. According to a press release, as part of its partnership, Columbia Records and Twitch will crown a "Twitch Music: Steam Star" champ with a $20,000 cash prize and a recording deal with Columbia for the winner of the streaming service's live singing competition.
