Chance the Rapper performs on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Even though his tour was pushed back to 2020, Chance The Rapper stopped by The Ellen Show on Wednesday (Sept. 11) to talk The Big Day, his marriage, welcoming baby number two, and delivered a fashionable performance to "Eternal" alongside Smino.

The Chicago native took the stage in matching white tuxes with a pair of backup vocalists behind him. The trio even incorporated a dance routine into the groovy performance to give it a classic Motown vibe. Smino injected himself in front of the group to take centerstage and finish off his assist in a dark denim top.

Chance also sat down with host Ellen DeGeneres prior to the performance, as she sketched out what his newborn daughter, Marli, looked like since the photo Chano's wife posted left that up to the imagination. She then rattled off several of the donations Chance has pledged to helping Chicago's youth, before blessing him with overalls for the family, and a plaque celebrating Coloring Book surpassing 1.5 billion streams on Spotify.

"My understanding of a lot of stuff is based on Jesus," he said when asked about what inspires him to give back. "Jesus teaches to care for your neighbor and people that aren't neccessarily your blood. That's an impactful thing I understood as I got older. My parents definitely instilled in me that when you see people in need, you don't just want to pass them by."
