Saweetie brought out the star power during the show for her collaboration with fashion retailer PrettyLittleThing during New York Fashion Week on Sunday (Sept. 8).
The rising rapper turned the catwalk into a stage, opening the fashion show with a performance of “Icy Girl” before passing the mic to Lil’ Kim, Quavo and Ashanti.
Rocking a silky copper robe and high heels, Lil’ Kim shut down the runway spitting the lyrics to “Lighters Up” and “The Jump Off” as models strutted past in Saweetie’s designs.
Later in the show, Quavo performed the intro of “Ice Tray” before segueing into “Workin Me” and congratulating her girlfriend on her collection with an “I’m proud of you, Saweetie!”
Finally, Ashanti took to the runway in a barely-there green-and-black ensemble, delivering a career-spanning medley of hits including her iconic Fat Joe and Ja Rule collabs “What’s Luv?” “Happy” and “Always On Time” before wrapping up her set with tropical house bop “Pretty Little Thing” and “Foolish.”
Saweetie then closed the show with a knockout performance of her latest single “My Type,” which currently sits at No. 22 on the Billboard Hot 100.
