Keznamdi Flees The Feds 'Bonnie and Clyde' Style In 'Love Mi Nuff' Video: Premiere

When you're deep in love, sometimes you'd do anything to keep that lust-fueled energy going. And Keznamdi becomes a full-fledged outlaw in his new video for "Love Mi Nuff."

Premiering on Billboard today (Sept. 6), the Patroni-directed video follows the reggae singer as he spots a police officer outside his motel, who stereotypically brands him as a "Rastafarian" likely carrying marijuana and guns. Keznamdi quickly realizes he has to leave the scene, so he and his woman pack up and run away like a modern-day Bonnie & Clyde. The song, produced by dancehall legend Sukuward, elevates the storyline with its rugged, bass-heavy production.

"I’m very grateful to have a fan base that’s very patient with my process of making music," Keznamdi tells Billboard. "It’s been a year since anyone has heard anything new from me and 'Love Mi Nuff' is the the beginning of a new chapter of music. It really started as a freestyle in the booth. The vibes of the song was too raw and fresh to just leave it as a freestyle, so we went back into the lab to actually make it a song. Nuff niceness on the way!"

"Love Mi Nuff" is the lead single from Keznamdi's forthcoming album, with details to be revealed soon. Before then, the artist will be hitting the road with Collie Buddz for his headlining Hybrid tour this fall. "I remember when I was living in Tanzania and hearing Collie Buddz's music for the first time as a youth," Keznamdi recalls.

"[His self-titled debut LP] was definitely one of those fundamental albums that influenced an entire generation and changed my perspective on music forever. Fast forward a few years later and now we hitting the road together."
