Lizzo Celebrates 'Truth Hurts' Hitting No. 1 On the Billboard Hot 100: 'We Did It Lizzbians'

Shortly after scoring her first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single with "Truth Hurts," Lizzo celebrated the momentous feat with her fans on Twitter.

"WE DID IT LIZZBIANS," she tweeted alongside a rainbow and umbrella emoji.

"Truth Hurts" makes Lizzo the sixth female rapper to notch a No. 1 on the Hot 100, placing her alongside Cardi B, Lauryn Hill, Iggy Azalea, Lil Kim and Shawanna. "Honored" by her latest achievement, 2019 has undoubtedly been a banner year for the rising hyphenate.

Along with "Truth Hurts" rocketing to No. 1 this week, on Sunday (Sept. 1), Lizzo delivered an electrifying set at Made In America with music royalty, Jay-Z and Beyonce in attendance. She also partnered up with DaBaby during her time there to perform the remix to newly-crowned Hot 100 chart-topper.
