Metro Boomin and 21 Savage attend the Tom Ford Fall/ Winter 2018 Men's Runway Show at Park Avenue Armory on Feb. 6, 2018 in New York City.

The sequel to 21 Savage and Metro Boomin's acclaimed Savage Mode project is apparently coming soon. The original mixtape released courtesy of the ATLiens back in 2016, but a follow-up looks to be in the works three years later.

21 brought out Boomin' for his set over the weekend in Los Angeles, but before leaving the stage, Savage teased the imminent arrival of Savage Mode 2, which drew a resounding roar from the crowd. "Savage Mode 2 on the motherfucking way," he said.

2016's Savage Mode included standout cuts such as "No Heart" and the Future-assisted "X." The project is now certified gold by the RIAA. 21 and Metro are frequently collaborating, as Savage told The Fader back in 2016 that the dynamic duo had "20 to 30" tracks in the stash at that point.
