You might be familiar with Chase B as Travis Scott's tour DJ and working behind-the-scenes of Cactus Jack Records, but on Friday (July 19), he released his debut single as an artist with the explosive "MAYDAY," featuring Sheck Wes and Young Thug.

“I found myself at the glass ceiling where I felt like my height was right there. I could either [DJ] for the rest of my career, or I can try to take this shit to the next level," Chase told Complex of his plans to dabble in the artist world. "MAYDAY" will serve as the energetic lead single off his forthcoming debut album.

Thugger floats over the BRYVN production with an extended assist. "I'm checking the static, I'm checking the settings/ This bitch 'round my neck, he might cook it my Patek/ I'm hungry as fuck, 'bout to eat out the carrot/ I got the biggest body inside of the valley/ I'm next to John Wall I could throw him an alley," he speedily raps.

Give "MAYDAY" a listen below.
