Nas Announces 'The Lost Tapes 2' Release Date

On the heels of teasing The Lost Tapes sequel, Nas officially announced on Tuesday (July 2) that The Lost Tapes 2 is set for release July 19. The long-awaited project will feature unreleased cuts from Hip-Hop Is Dead, UntitledLife Is Good, and Nasir

Nas also unveiled the track list, which enlists a myriad of superstars on the production side. Look for hard-hitting beats from luminaries such as Kanye West, Pete Rock, Hit-Boy, Swizz Beatz, RZA, The Alchemist, No I.D., Statik Selektah, Pharrell and more. 

The Queensbridge native has launched a merchandise collection in collaboration with Aimé Leon Dore commemorating the project that's now available over at his online shop. The selection includes a range of t-shirts, hoodies, an ash tray and a The Lost Tapes II candle. 

Nas is just days away from embarking on a co-headlining tour with Mary J. Blige later in July. The North American trek is slated to kick off in West Palm Beach, Fla. on July 11.
