Following a trifecta of EPs in 2018, Big K.R.I.T. is gearing up to unleash his K.R.I.T. IZ HERE album on July 12, which is the long-awaited sequel to 2010's K.R.I.T. Wuz Here project. The 32-year-old recruits the contrasting duo of Saweetie and Lil Wayne, who also teamed up on Kid Ink's "YUSO" last year, for the slippery "Addiction."

Krit's latest single premiered as one of Zane Lowe's World Record over at Beats 1 on Monday (June 24). Saweetie delivers a hypnotic chorus to open the tune. "Dive in this shit feel like water," she repeatedly demands. Big K.R.I.T. keeps the aquatic theme going, but blends in his plans of romanticizing a certain woman.

"'High tide, catch a wave if you wanna,' she say/ Underwater with no scuba, 'You a goner,' she say (Gone)/ I'ma swim through that shit, show a fin in that bitch/ I'm a shark in ocean if she give me the bait/ Drip, drip, wet, wet, wet all on the floor," he raps.

Drug-laced raps and bars about his sexual desires have been a staple for Wayne verses throughout his entire career, making him an easy choice to fill the lane. "She asked me why is my drink so pink/ I said, 'Lean on me, lean on me'/ Mix the codeine like Creatine/ I'm her addiction and she a fiend," Weezy rhymes.

The Mississippi native is showing he's more open to collaboration based on the K.R.I.T. IZ HERE track list found on Apple Music. Fans can expect appearances from J. Cole, Rico Love, Yella Beezy, Camper, Baby Rose and more.
