Drake's Best Moments From the 2019 NBA Finals

There's been Spike Lee with the Knicks, Jack Nicholson for the Lakers, and Billy Crystal courtside representing the Clippers -- but we've never seen an influential superstar of Drake's magnitude packaged with his intense, crazed superfandom of the Toronto Raptors roaming the sidelines.

With Drizzy acting as an official ambassador of the Raptors, Toronto's prodigial son has alluded way more leeway when it comes to his ridiculous gameday antics compared to just about any other fan on the hardwood. His subliminal dissing ability has always been a clever staple in his musical repertoire, but his cheeky digs have even translated courtside, with certain outfit choices featuring a deeper meaning and connection to pop culture and basketball that the average viewer might not even understand.

The 6 God has been stationed right next to the Raptors bench, alongside manager Future the Prince -- pumping his fist after every basket, living and dying with Toronto's bid for a title. He's become impossible to miss in the frame of every fan's television. Sports talk hosts, like Fox Sports' Skip Bayless, are even asserting the notion that Drake's impact helped propel the Raptors' epic postseason run to the franchise's first NBA Finals, where they're facing the two-time defending champion Golden State Warriors.

Between giving Raptors' head coach Nick Nurse a quick shoulder massage, shading the Milwaukee Bucks' owner's daughter, and trolling Giannis Antetokounmpo during the Eastern Conference Finals, the NBA reportedly stepped in and told Toronto higher-ups to cool it, but the Raptors organization didn't want to hear any of it. Letting Drake be Drake has paid dividends, with the team maintaining a strong homecourt advantage.

The NBA Finals are now tied up at a game a piece with Game 3 slated for Wednesday night (June 5), as the series turns back to California. It remains to be seen if Drake will be making an appearance behind enemy lines. The only thing that could make his theatrics any better would be to see him rocking a Kevin Durant New York Knicks jersey if KD comes back to play from his injured calf.

Here are Drizzy's best moments from the NBA Finals thus far.

Game One: Raptors 118, Warriors 109

Wears Dell Curry's Toronto Raptors Jersey

Warriors superstar point guard Steph Curry's father, Dell Curry, was also a sharpshooter during his days in the NBA. He happened to finish out the final three years of his career at the turn of the century with the Toronto Raptors, wearing the same No. 30 that his son would later adopt. Drake attempted to use that knowledge to throw Steph off his game, by wearing an autographed Dell Curry Raptors jersey, which Mr. Curry saw pregame and definitely got a kick out of.

The Warriors guard would prove unaffected, however, finishing the game with a team high 34 points. But Drake and the Raptors ultimately had the last laugh, securing the Game One victory.

Jokingly Chokes Warriors Superfan E-40

There's nobody that reps Bay Area sports harder than E-40. The dedicated Warriors fan made the trip out to the hostile 6 for the Finals match up last week, where he was greeted by a "hospitable" Drizzy pregame. The hip-hop duo shared a laugh on the sideline and even posed for a picture holding each other in a friendly WWE chokehold.

Calls Draymond Green "Trash" Following Game 1 Victory

Draymond Green would argue with the wall if he could -- the man has pleaded his case with refs even after the most obvious of fouls. The boisterous Warriors forward is always down to mix it up, and even though he's been friendly with Drake over the years, there's no love lost between the lines during this series.

While walking toward the tunnel after suffering defeat, something Drizzy chirped got under the skin of Green, as he stopped and went face-to-face with an animated Aubrey, before being ushered away by his teammates. Drake can be seen mouthing, "Trash!," which later became a viral meme on social media.

Sells Steph Curry Hair Lint on eBay

As the competitive juices were flowing, Drake took his trolling ways to the next level following the Raptors' monumental Game 1 victory. The OVO boss posted a hair lint he pulled from Steph Curry's head with video proof to his IG, saying he would be selling the piece on eBay under the hilarious username of, "DraymondShouldn'tWear23." "Steph Curry hair lint for sale on my eBay right now!!! username: DraymondShouldntWear23," he wrote.

Game Two: Warriors 109, Raptors 104

Dons 'Home Alone' Hoodie Trolling Kevin Durant, Macaulay Culkin Responds

Drake went back into his bag of tricks for Game Two and took aim at Kevin Durant, who would remain inactive with a strained calf. Drizzy rocked a black hoodie that was emblazoned with a graphic of fictional problem child Kevin McCallister, from 1990's Home Alone. "Kevin?!?!?" read the jacket. (While inactive, Durant prefers to watch games from the locker room, rather than the team's bench.) Macaulay Culkin, the now-grown actor behind the iconic '90s character, got wind of the "God's Plan" rapper's attire and responded on Twitter: "Hey @Drake I'm right here, bro. DM me. See you at the BBQ."

Daps Up Barack Obama

Drake wouldn't be the only celebrity at Scotiabank Arena for Game 2. Patrons were treated to a special guest appearance by former president Barack Obama. Even though he was outside of the United States, Obama received a resounding standing ovation when put on the jumbotron -- to Kanye West's "Flashing Lights" no less -- as well as several rounds of "MVP" chants from the warm Canadian citizens. Drake caught up with the ex-commander-in-chief prior to tip-off, as the two embraced and looked happy to see each other.

Kevin Durant & Klay Thompson Talk Trash to Drake in the Tunnel Postgame

One would think Drake would have his own exit to secretly skedaddle from the arena once the Raptors realized defeat, but that wasn't the case. Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson, who also left the game with a hamstring strain in the fourth quarter, made sure to throw some salt in the wound for Drake on his way out. "See you in the Bay, Aubrey," Thompson said. "You weren't talking tonight, were you? Bum ass... That was light work, too." Drake seemed to be content with the split at home. "Yeah, it's 1-1. It's 1-1," he responded. "And you squeezed that [game out], by the way." (KD was patronizingly encouraging to the defeated rapper, repeatedly telling him, "Keep ya head up.")
