On the heels of debuting "Sweet Thangs" with a live performance at the Billboard NYC offices last week, Tee Grizzley unleashed the menacing track for the world to hear on Friday (May 31). The single serves as the third from the Detroit native's forthcoming Scriptures album, which is entirely produced by the legendary Timbaland.

Grizz recalls his days as a trapper, where he'd risk it all to secure the next bag. "This one n---a I barely knew I hit a lick with him (Let's get it)/ Sold everythin' and I ain't split shit with him (Nothing)/ If I don't know you, I'mma hold you, suck it up, 'cause I'll smoke you," he raps in a frightening tone.

Tee and Timbo phoned into Beats 1 for an interview with Zane Lowe in April regarding their joint project. They actually met thanks to Kanye West hosting the pair at a studio session in Miami earlier this year.

"He's a chess player. I guess when the beat was playing, he saw this whole vision of how this body of work should be," the beat maestro said of collaborating with Grizzley. "He knows he wanted something different. When he wanted to come back out, it has to be a moment. I applaud him on that because a lot of artists these days don't understand that you gotta make a moment, instead of a splash."
