After Lil Durk revealed that he would be turning himself in to authorities on Thursday (May 30), the Atlanta Police Department confirmed to Billboard that an arrest warrant had been issued in his name in the state of Georgia.

Durk is facing five felony charges for his alleged connection to a shooting that took place earlier in 2019 at The Varsity restaurant in Atlanta. Atlanta police stated that the Chicago native was not in custody as of press time.

Prior to surrendering to ATL authorities, Durk released a track claiming his innocence with "Turn Myself In" on Thursday (May 30). Lil Durk, 26, relocated to Atlanta in late 2017 after calling Chicago home for the first portion of his life.
