'The Lion King' Character Posters Featuring Donald Glover & Beyonce Revealed

Disney has released 11 character posters for the upcoming The Lion King film, starring Donald Glover and Beyoncé

The 11 posters each portray a photo of the film's main characters along with the name of the actor and actress playing their roles. Aside from Glover and Beyoncé -- who will play Simba and Nala, respectively -- The Lion King will feature a bevy of marquee names, including Alfre Woodard, Chiwetel Ejiofor and James Earl Jones, who reprises his voice role from the 1994 animated film as Mufasa, Simba's dad.

Lauded by many as a classic, the original film detailed Simba's childhood, which was marred by the loss of his father at the hands of his treacherous uncle Scar. After fleeing from his family, Simba returns as an adult to avenge his father's death by duking it out with his uncle.
