Joyner Lucas and Logic decided to put their differences aside and bury the hatchet to get back to working together. On Thursday (May 23), Joyner called a truce to reunite with Bobby and officially squash their beef that had been brewing since 2016 in the militant "ISIS" video, which is slated to land on Lucas' ADHD project.

The Massachussetts rapper serves as a soldier on an army base for the duration of the clip, as he and Logic exchange scintilating bars on the front lines in uniform. "N---as throwin' stones at my glass house/ I remember sleepin' on my dad's couch/ Now I got the Bentley, and it's blacked out/ Family lookin' at me like a cash cow/ Errybody dissin' just to have clout," he rhymes.

The squadron eventually captures an adversary behind enemy lines after surrounding him with a convoy of Hummers and tanks. Logic transports from rhyming atop a tank to the position of the foe on his knees with guns being pointed in his direction. The DMV native interpolates Biggie Smalls' "What's Beef" into the chorus and flips it into talking about the common ground he discovered with Joyner.

"What's beef?/ Beef is when you murder motherfuckers on a beat, kill 'em all, kill 'em all/ Nah, nah, what's beef?/ Beef is brothers dyin' over shit that never mattered in the first place, lyin' in the street/ What's peace?/ Peace is when you leave it in the past, let it heal like a cast," Logic raps.

Lucas told Billboard back in 2017 that the relationship with Logic started to sour during their collaboration with Tech N9ne on "Sriracha" from the year before. The pair would go on to fire off shots at oneanother on various records in the time since, but that all looks to be in the past.
