After releasing six projects in 2018 alone, Chris Crack doesn't plan to let his foot off the gas this year. Feeling the doubt from detractors, the Chicago-bred rapper returned Tuesday (May 14) with a soulful surprise album titled Never Hated I Just Waited

The cinematic project takes on more of a traditional structure for Crack to flesh out his vision over 15 addictive tracks in total. The New Deal Crew boss enlists an extensive guest ist that includes U.G.L.Y. Boy Modeling, Your Old Droog, MFn Melo, Nate Barksdale, Gzus Piece and Jamya McCline.

Crack's last delivery came in December where he teamed up with NYC-based multi-instrumentalist J-Zone to unleash the eccentric Thanks Uncle Trill full-length project closing out 2018.

Chris is actively listening to offers from major labels, but won't enter any type of deal if it impedes on his creative freedom to drop when he wants. "[I’m interested] as long as I can still release my shit the way I need to release my shit,” he told Billboard in April. “That’s my whole thing. I gotta be able to release whenever the fuck I feel like it, or that’s not Chris Crack. Sometimes I just wake up some morning like, I’m dropping an album.”
