Skepta attends the Louis Vuitton Menswear Fall/Winter  2019/2020 show as part of Paris Fashion Week on Jan. 17, 2019 in Paris.

Skepta is ready to return to the grime world, as the British rapper announced details of his new album today (April 29). Titled Ignorance Is Bliss, the LP is set to arrive on May 31.

He shared the news on Instagram along with the album's thermal vision-themed cover art. The rapper recently wiped his Instagram clean save for three posts, one of which gave fans an update on this upcoming music era. "A message to say I love you all, I’ve been working hard and I’m more focused than ever," he wrote on April 14. "Changed my album title cos #SkLEVEL is a 2018 pattern. New year, new name. @slowthai album first tho.. see you soon."

Ignorance Is Bliss -- Skepta's fifth album -- marks the follow-up to 2016's Konnichiwa, which beat out David Bowie, Radiohead and Kano for the Mercury Prize. He also released his 2017 Vicious EP that featured Lil B, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Nast and Section Boyz.

Skepta also made a guest appearance on A$AP Rocky's "Praise the Lord (Da Shine)," a highlight from last May's Testing.
