Wiz Khalifa has made his presence felt in hip-hop for well over a decade, but there's still much we don't know about the Taylor Gang honcho. On Wednesday (April 10), Khalifa took to Instagram to announce Wiz Khalifa: Behind the Cam, a docuseries with Apple Music that will allow fans into the rapper's life like never before.

A two-minute trailer that premiered via Variety provides a peek into what's to come, as the clip details Wiz's rise in the rap game and will feature interviews with family and friends who were there to see it first-hand every step of the way. Behind the Cam is set to include five episodes, which will debut on the streaming service in full on April 17.

"Taylor Gang has been with me since the start, so I wanted to make something to show just how far we’ve come,” Wiz says of the inspiration behind the series. The trailer showcases the Pittsburgh native's grind to the top, starting back when he would perform mixtape deep cuts before he was a household name, with less than 20 people in attendance.

The docuseries is set to release April 17 via Apple Music. Khalifa will also hit the Coachella stage as part of the star-studded Saturday lineup.
