Drake and Future perform onstage during the Final Stop of 'Aubrey & The three Amigos Tour' at State Farm Arena on Nov. 18, 2018 in Atlanta.

Drake and Future seem to be spending a healthy amount of time in one another's company these days. Hendrix has popped up as a special guest performer at a few of Drizzy's Assassination Vacation Tour dates in Europe, and the pair took to Future's IG story on Thursday (April 4) night to tease new music on the way.

The 6 God hinted that a What a Time to Be Alive sequel joint project with Future could be his next musical endeavor, while the ATLien says the collab effort is already done. "What's that? We gotta cook that up. That 2," Drake said holding up two fingers. "It's already cooked up. Top secret," Future then confirmed.

Rumors of a WATTBA follow-up began to swirl last month (March 12) after OnSmash reported that the project was already done and would contain all freshly recorded material, rather than leftovers from 2015 sessions. The sequel is expected to be released at some point later this year.
