Memorial to Nipsey Hussle Grows Outside Late Rapper's Clothing Store

Hussle, 33, was shot dead on Sunday (March 31) by an unknown assailant.

Less than 24 hours after Nipsey Hussle, 33, was gunned down in front of his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon (Marc 31) a growing tribute to the late rapper has sprung up on the sidewalk outside of the shop.

The collection of flower arrangements, candles and teddy bears, including a spraypainted "RIP NH" in a golden heart with the rapper's initials spelled out in devotional candles above near some handpainted signs and portraits pay tribute to the MC who was gunned down by an as-yet-unidentified assailant in a daytime shooting that also wounded two others.

Hussle (born Ermias Ashedom) was not only a rapper an entrepreneur, but also a community activist who was slated to meet with representatives of the LAPD on Monday (April 1) to discuss strategies to help reduce gang violence.
