Soulja Boy Arrested For Violating Probation: Report

Soulja Boy was arrested by LAPD early Friday morning (March 15). TMZ reports that Young Draco was scooped up by police upon his arrival for a meeting with his probation officer in the San Fernando Valley. Jail records show that Soulja Boy, born DeAndre Way, was booked at 9:27 a.m. and is being held without bail in Van Nuys jail.

Way has been on probation since being convicted in 2014 on charges for carrying a loaded firearm in public. Law enforcement then searched Draco's Los Angeles home on a warrant last month following claims he was holding a woman against her will inside his garage. Police found ammunition at the house, which is a clear violation of his probation, but didn't act on it until Friday (March 15).

The 28-year-old is expected to get in front of a judge at some point on Friday (March 15). He was also supposed to perform at tonight's Clippers game at Staples Center in Los Angeles as part of the halftime entertainment. The "Turn My Swag On" rapper received an additional five years of probation under provisions of his plea deal in March 2017, which stemmed from cops discovering firearms in his house during December of 2016.
