Signs continue to pop up that Lil Uzi Vert's retirement from the rap game could be shortlived, but the Philly native remains entangled in label troubles clashing with DJ Drama's Generation Now imprint. Meanwhile, Meek Mill brought out Uzi for a surprise "XO Tour Llif3" performance during his NYC tour stop Tuesday night (March 12).

In the midst of his set, Meek teased a guest appearance from the 24-year-old, which sent the Hammerstein Ballroom crowd into an uproar. Uzi then hit the stage in eccentric all-denim attire. Following his The Motivation Tour cameo spot, the "Money Longer" rapper previewed a snippet of some unreleased music on Instagram live.

Lil Uzi also vented about his ongoing label problems that have plagued the release of his mythical Eternal Atake on the broadcast. "I wish I could just give it to y'all for free on SoundCloud," Uzi said of the anticipated project. "I got all the songs. I could just drop everything on SoundCloud."
