Kevin Durant and Travis Scott on Carpool Karaoke: The Series.

The worlds of basketball and hip-hop often become entangled, as tons of athletes and rappers have formed friendships while moving at the epicenter of pop culture. Even though he bleeds Red Nation, Travis Scott took a joyride with Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant for the newest edition of Apple's Carpool Karaoke. The trailer released on Friday (March 1), and the episode is available in full over at Apple TV.

The teaser finds La Flame and Kevin Durant, who takes on the role Drake, rapping the lyrics to the No. 1 smash "SICKO MODE" back-and-forth at each other. They then move into Kendrick Lamar's standout guest verse on BITTSM's "Goosebumps" and jam out to Rick James' "Super Freak."

Scott also shows off his softer side and eclectic taste in music, much to the dismay of KD, as he sings a throwback song that he performed during the Kiss Me, Kate musical he starred in back in his high school days.

After being forced to cancel his Buffalo tour stop due to "illness," Scott gets back to work with a pair of soldout NYC performances this weekend, as leg two of the Astroworld Tour reboots Saturday. Durant is also expected to return to the floor when the Warriors take on the Philadelphia 76ers in prime time Saturday night.
