Offset Announces Release Date Of Solo Album With Clip Featuring New Footage Of Cardi B Giving Birth
While Offset was busy accompanying Cardi B during her historical night at the Grammy Awards Sunday (Feb. 10), Quality Control took advantage of the spotlight and released a trailer for Set's much-delayed solo album, which was originally slated to arrive on his birthday in December. The clip shuffles through moments in his private life and closes by announcing the project will be released on Feb. 22.
The upcoming documentary features raw footage of the Migo juggling the pressures of raising his kids, dealing with more fame, and even takes us inside the delivery room when Cardi gave birth to their daughter Kulture over the summer. Quavo recently confirmed to Billboard that Offset's solo debut would serve as a precursor to Culture III in 2019.
The 27-year-old is yet to release a single for the anticipated project, but teased in a previous interview that he would be opening up about the serious situations in his life, rather than rapping about Pateks and Lambos because "that's not relatable." "I'm talking about relevant situations that have occurred over the last 18 or 24 months, like me being in the crash, my kids, my family time and me being married," he told Billboard in November. "I just want to do big numbers. To me, I don't give a damn about anything but numbers. Another No. 1. On some solo shit, I got to have a No. 1 album."
