The XXXTentacion-assisted "Don't Cry" becomes the second official single off Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V album Wednesday (Jan. 23), coinciding with the release of the somber track's desert-themed visual. Jay and Georgio Rodriguez hopped behind the lens to flex their compelling directing ability throughout the video.

Wayne embraces the barren area at the onset of the flick, holding what looks to be a blunt while bizarrely posted up alongside a camel and a pair of women at his bedside. He seemingly rocks a fresh outfit at every scene pivot, catering to Weezy's eclectic taste. The shoot moves inside to a stone-filled castle that could be something straight out of Game of Thrones

Raw footage of XXXTentacion performing is woven into the clip next to his posthumous vocals. Everything comes to a chilling close, commemorating the life of the polarizing fallen rapper with a "Long Live X" chant, as "R.I.P. XXXTentacion" runs across the screen with his date of birth and passing.

X, born Jahseh Onfroy, would have been celebrating his 21st birthday today.
