Ibrahim Hamad, J. Cole’s manager, took to his Instagram story on Wednesday night to give fans a taste of the music produced during Cole’s Revenge of the Dreamers III sessions.

In the 16-second clip captured by a fan, Hamad is sitting in his car with an untitled song playing. “Don’t let Cole know I’m playing y’all this,” he wrote along with “Revenge” hashtagged three times.

There is no telling how many people watched Hamad’s original video in his Instagram story, but the fan’s tweet has been viewed more than 25,000 times. The fan -- user @Elite_Lionel -- tweeted, “y’all need to drop this s--- already man,” along with the video. Hamad replied, “I got you when it’s finished. I’m tryna put it together.”

It’s difficult to decipher what Cole is rapping in the clip, which is probably why Hamad felt comfortable sharing it. That, or the song in this clip may not even make the final cut as Hamad disclosed earlier this week that “124 songs/ideas” were produced during the 10 days of Revenge sessions in Atlanta. However, he also tweeted that Revenge of the Dreamers III isn’t “even close” to a 30-song album, when a fan said “we would rather have a very solid 12-song album than an inconsistent 30-song album.”

Cole himself announced that the sessions were finished on Jan. 16 with a tweet expressing, “That shit was beautiful. Next step, finish the songs and let the [world] feel em.”

Even if the song in Hamad’s Instagram story doesn’t make the final cut, fans seem to be ready to feel whatever Cole shares. Listen to the teaser below.
