After Will Smith revealed that he and Martin Lawrence began shooting their long-awaited flick Bad Boys For Life on Monday (Jan. 14), more exciting news came out on Tuesday. According to Variety, DJ Khaled has joined the cast of the latest chapter in the beloved cop series.

Khaled's inclusion bolsters an already starry cast headlined by Smith, Lawrence and a bevy of newcomers including Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, Jacob Scipio, and Paola Nuñez. Though Khaled's role remains unknown as of press time, he gushed about his latest venture from the movie's set, while predicting that an Academy Award might be in his future.

"Blessed to announce that I will be joining @willsmith and @Martinlawrence in the cast of @badboys #BadBoysForLifemovie! Salute @fallahbilall @adilelarbi," he wrote on Instagram. "May I remind you, it’s only Jan 15th, 2019. Y’all have no idea what’s coming. I’m coming for the Oscars!! God Is The Greatest!!!"

In addition to shooting Bad Boys For Life, Khaled was spotted at J. Cole's Revenge of the Dreamers III rap camp Tuesday night (Jan. 15), where he was photoed working alongside Cole and Swizz Beatz.
