After posting a timer counting down the hours to Friday (Jan. 4) on social media, fans didn't know what to expect from Future, who already has had a busy week with the birth of his fifth child, Hendrix. The Wheezy-produced "Crushed Up" then surfaced on streaming services shortly after midnight, and a cinematic video also arrived hours later to go with his latest single.

The clip begins with a child entering the alternate universe of a winter wonderland as the auto tune-laced instrumental begins to creep into the ominous scene. A fashionable Future then traverses through the mansion with snow falling all around him. He's joined by a number of women dancers on the journey; some of the ballerinas in all-white dresses are mysteriously passed out on the floor, while others hit the stripper pole.

Whenever the 35-year-old steps out into the public eye, he's always properly laced in icy jewelry. He makes sure to let everyone know about his luxe habits on the tune's first verse. "I put five pointers in the face, you can see it/ I just put my whole damn arm in the fridge/ Ten chains on, Lucky Charms, I'm the shit/ Ten, ten different exotic cars how we slid/ Meet me in Chanel in the back, we goin' big/ I been gettin' NBA money, Jason Kidd," he raps.

"Crushed Up" serves as Future's first official release of 2019, as the French Montana-assisted "Nasa" has since been scrubbed from the internet. The track is actually slated to land on the Freebandz rapper's seventh studio album, which will arrive Jan. 18.
