J. Cole Prays For 6ix9ine On New 21 Savage Track 'A Lot': Listen

J. Cole prays for 6ix9ine on "A Lot," the opening track on 21 Savage’s new album I Am > I Was, which dropped at midnight today (Dec. 21).

"Pray for Tekashi, they want him to rot," Cole raps on the song, "I picture him inside a cell on a cot, ’Flectin' on how he made it to the top/Wondering if it was worth it or not."

Childish Gambino, Post Malone and ScHoolboy Q also feature on the record. The 14-track release is the Atlanta hip-hop artist’s second full-length album, and the followup to 2017’s Issa Album, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 (his Without Warning set with Offset & Metro Boomin in the same year reached No. 4 on the chart).

The East Atlanta rapper previewed the project early this week with an interactive art pop up installation in his hometown, titled Motel 21.
