Not only was the rapper nominated for song of the year at the 2018 Grammy Awards, he also got to perform his mental health awareness anthem "1-800-273-8255" alongside Alessia Cara and Khalid at the ceremony. He recalled to Billboard a moment at the Grammys when he rushed to the bathroom during a commercial break and knocked DJ Khaled's phone, almost breaking it. "He pulled out another phone and was like, 'Another one!' Just kidding," he joked.
He even added an extra notable moment to his top five, revealing that he wrote a novel -- a psychological thriller about a guy who works at a supermarket. He aims to be the first "musician that’s an author who wrote a book then wrote a screenplay and will star in the movie and do the soundtrack," a feat he deemed "gangster shit."
