A random phone call back in September sparked a five-day run of recording between Usher and Zaytoven in California, which led to the Atlanta-bred pair crafting the eight-track "A" project (Oct. 12). The 40-year-old returns two months to the day after the project's release to deliver the first visual off the effort with "Peace Sign" on Wednesday (Dec. 12).

Usher rides around the city that raised him stopping at various ATL staples seen throughout the Georgia capital; the Yoni Lappin-directed clip makes sure to properly salute the famed Peaches of Atlanta strip club. The "No Limit" singer then croons in front of Atlanta's Orpheum Theatre to close out the video.

Billboard caught up with Zay in October to see how the surprise project actually came together. "'Peace Sign' was the song that started everything," the 38-year-old beat maestro detailed. "Usher was in the studio and I created something from scratch and 'Peace Sign' was the song we did that made us say, 'Oh, we got something.' That sparked the whole five day run."

Take your focus off the king of R&B debate for a few minutes and check out the "Peace Sign" video below.
