Ice Cube performs on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Dec. 10, 2018.

On the heels of hitting the Tonight Show stage last week (Dec. 7), Ice Cube continued his press tour in support of his new studio album Everythangs Corrupt on Monday night (Dec. 10) when the 49-year-old rap legend stopped by Studio 56 for a brief interview and another performance of the single "That New Funkadelic" on The Late Late Show

First, Cube sat down with host James Corden to recount the time where he and the rest of N.W.A weren't allowed into the listening party for their first album at a swanky Beverly Hills nightclub. "We couldn't get in, we were late because of Eazy," Cube said of late bandmate Eazy E. "He always made us late. We show up and you had to have your Easter shoes. We ended up going to iHop and fussing and complaining about it. It was terrible."

The California native then hit the stage in his signature Dodgers cap to close out the show with a jazzy performance backed by an expansive live band featuring a killer horn section. "You know the funk will linger/ All these motherfuckers wanna smell my finger/ All these motherfuckers wanna fuck my singers/ I don't give a damn," Cube rhymed as the crowd clapped along to the George Clinton-honoring bounce.
