21 Savage could be returning with a new album Friday (Dec. 7). The Atlanta native just unveiled the cryptic cover art and title to his forthcoming I Am > I Was album. Outside of dropping off a few subtle hints, the project's release date still remains unconfirmed as of press time.

The Issa Album rapper previously teased fans with a Dr. Seuss reference that his next album would arrive in "Octember," which was then followed by 21 tweeting out the vague date of "12-7-18." On Thursday (Dec. 6), Savage shared the effort's ominous artwork with a series of goat emojis. The cover features a black-and-white photo of the "Bank Account" artist with his body and eyes mostly blurred out.

After a relatively quiet 2018, the 26-year-old launched himself back into the mainstream hip-hop sphere with standout features on Without Warning producer Metro Boomin's Not All Heroes Wear Capes album last month (Nov. 2). In case Savage fails to deliver on Friday, fans can get a dose of their favorite artist by listening to his feature on Gucci Mane's Evil Genius album that releases the same day (Dec. 7) as well.

For now, check out the I Am > I Was album cover art below.
