Kodak Black Frees His Mind in New 'Calling My Spirit' Video: Watch
After dropping off the somber "Calling My Spirit" last week, Kodak Black quickly followed up to release the ghostly visual depiction of the track on Wednesday (Dec. 5).
The 21-year-old takes a seat in his home library with a drink and a cigar alongside his black cat to open up the clip. He then becomes a god-like figure in the CGI-crafted clouds as the scene pivots. The real story lies in two inmates behind bars processing the life choices that brought them to this predicament. They are eventually freed after becoming spellbound by a few seductive women.
Since regaining his freedom in August, Kodak looks to close out the year with some serious momentum. The "Transportin" rapper currently has a pair of records in the top 15 of the Hot 100, thanks to the island-tinged "Zeze" and his assist on Gucci Mane's "Wake Up In The Sky."
The Southside-produced "Calling My Spirit" will land on the Florida native's Dying to Live album, which arrives Dec. 14.
