“I think it just really depends on how much he’s had to drink,” replied .Paak. “And usually he sees it my way once he sleeps on it.”
.Paak also shared that through The Brandon Anderson Foundation, he hopes to help people that could be overlooked by introducing them to the arts and music.
“When I was young, I was exposed early to music, and if I wasn’t exposed early to music, I probably would have been up to no good," he paused, glancing at Noah. "I probably would have no voice,” he teased.
.Paak followed the discussion by performing the relaxed “Anywhere” alongside a keyboard player and trumpeter. Sitting at his drum kit, .Paak banged his sticks together as one member of his trio used a voice changer to add deep, synth-heavy sounds to the rapper's cool voice which opened, “I think I'm in the Ruff Endz now/ I seen her throwin' up H-Town/ You was livin' off of Dru Hill/ Wasn't ready for the world but baby, who is?”
“And if you need an escape for now, meet up at room 112," he continued, smiling into the microphone, "We do it anywhere (We can do it anywhere).”
