Meek Mill sat down for an interview with Tidal's Elliot Wilson for the latest installment of the streaming services' CRWN series on Sunday night (Dec. 2) in NYC. With Meek's Championships album and prison reform serving as the main topics of discussion, the Philly native also shared some funny stories including an awkward situation, thanks to Jay-Z, from a few years ago.

"I was with Nicki [Minaj at the time]. Hov and Beyoncé were like, 'Come out to eat with us.' Hov got the playlist and he's clicking through shit and 'Back to Back' come on by mistake while we're at the table," Meek recalled of his "What's Free" collaborator. "I'm like, 'Oh shit, what the fuck?' Beyoncé, Hov, and Nicki just looking like they don't know what the fuck going on. I got to take a shit now. I don't even know if they remember that, but shit, I remember that."

The 31-year-old later touched on ending his feud with Drake and working together on Championships. "A lot of people don't know me and Drake been contacting each other for a year," he admitted. "I'm not with the fake shit and act like I'm cool with you just to do a record. I want you to know it's not that."

Meek went on to share a text message from the 6 God regarding how he got him self-conscious about wearing his Nike headbands. "Drake texted me last night saying something about, 'I just looked in my draw and saw all these Nike headbands. It made me think about the time you came at me about my headbands. I'll never wear these headbands again,'" he said with a chuckle.

Championships released last Friday (Nov. 30). Watch Meek Mill's CRWN episode in full over at Tidal.
