Kanye West's genre-shifting 808s & Heartbreak album celebrated its 10th anniversary on Saturday, and in honor of the project, frequent West collaborator Malik Yusef has announced plans for a North American tour in tribute to the album.

It should be noted that Kanye himself won't actually be performing on the trek, but Yusef relayed to Pitchfork that he "wouldn't do anything without Kanye's blessing." The 47-year-old will serve as the frontman for the tour but says he will select talented local artists in each city to put their own spin on album cuts through an online voting process.

Specific dates for the 15-city 2019 tour will be announced at a later time. Yusef plans to kick everything off in Los Angeles before wrapping up in San Francisco. Stops in NYC, Miami, Atlanta, Dallas, Boston and Las Vegas are also on tap.

"Any musicians have the ability to be a part of the tour, as the musical acts will be curated through an open application audition. Each artist or group will perform songs from the 808s & Heartbreak album in their own style, paying tribute to Kanye West’s original tracks," Malik Yusef explained via press release.

The G.O.O.D. Music affiliate notched several producing and co-writing credits on the influential 808s & Heartbreak. He recently detailed his involvement with West's fourth LP to Rolling Stone. "We were addressing heartbreak, and heartbreak is a two-way street," he said. "Sometimes you get your heart broken and sometimes somebody breaks your heart and you gotta own that."
