J.I.D. Releases Eccentric Sophomore Album 'DiCaprio 2' Featuring A$AP Ferg, 6LACK, Joey Bada$$ & More

J.I.D unleashed his electric second studio album DiCaprio 2 on Tuesday (Nov. 27) via Dreamville/Interscope Records. The record calls on assists from artists like 6LACK, Ella Mai, A$AP Ferg, Joey Bada$$ and more. 

Produced by ChaseTheMoney, Nice Rec, Christo, and Wondagurl, DiCaprio 2 is the follow-up record to the Atlanta rapper's 2017 debut album, The Never Story. Earlier this year, J.I.D released the explosive single "Off Deez," featuring Dreamville founder and rapper J.Cole, which also appears on the sophomore album. J.I.D pairs skillful rhymes over headbanging beats to create an upbeat record and overall intoxicating feel. 

The 28-year-old rapper also released fun a visual component of the album, which features him reenacting scenes from actor Leonardo DiCaprio's iconic films like 1997's Titanic, 2010's Inception, 2013's The Wolf of Wall Street, 2015's The Revenant and more.
