Khalid's 'Location' Is 2018's Most Played Song on Waffle House Jukeboxes

Kacie Tomita

Khalid's "Location" has been named 2018's most played song by Waffle House and TouchTunes Jukeboxes.

The honor is based on streams from more than 1,900 Waffle House restaurants, with Khalid taking the top spot as announced on the first-ever Tunie Awards show. The 20-year-old singer-songwriter has gained popularity through his soulful sound and emotional lyrics, beating Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran on the list. Last year's winner, Keith Urban's "Blue Ain't Your Color," finished at the No. 5 spot this year.

"Location" appeared on Khalid's 2017 debut album American Teen, along with songs like "Saved," "Young, Dumb and Broke," "8TEEN" and more.
