In a series of tweets, the rapper says she'll own her masters and remain "100% independent" as part of the deal.

After walking away from Island Records earlier this month, Iggy Azalea has quickly rebounded with a new lucrative deal. On Thursday (Nov. 15), Azalea doubled down on her claims about securing a new deal on Twitter, revealing that she signed for $2.7 million.

"Proud to say I literally just signed my new deal/partnership!," she announced on Twitter. "2.7mil, can sign others, own my masters + 100% independent. I’m feeling like such a bossy grown ass bitch today! Time to get back to ME. I’m so grateful & excited. Cheers! She also celebrated the fact that she can now own her masters. "I OWN MY OWN MASTERSSSSS bitchhhhhhhhh turn the fuck up!"

Azalea's announcement comes shortly after Entertainment Tonight spoke to the "Fancy" star during Cardi B's Fashion Nova party in Hollywood on Wednesday (Nov. 15). “Yeah, I left my label, I announced it two weeks ago and then I signed a new deal,” she told ET on the red carpet. “So, I'm gonna announce that probably next week. Yeah, I'm really excited!” She also revealed during her interview that she plans on moving to Atlanta to finish her album. “I'm actually moving to Atlanta in two weeks. Yeah, so I'm gonna go and start recording there and finish my album…and it's really good.”

This year has proven to be a turbulent one for Azalea. In February, Azalea shifted from Def Jam to Island Records and released her EP Surviving the Summer several months after. The EP failed to generate any traction, as her Tyga-assisted record "Kream" peaked at No. 96 on the Hot 100. She also had her tour canceled last month.

When Billboard reached out to Azalea's reps, they provided a "no comment."
